首先好多謝各位同學
講真，呢班同學算係我所見同學之中最有良心的一班
起碼他們不是「事非精」。

不經不覺在這裏讀了一年
這裏學校俾我的感覺就好似返返去中學時代般，一樣親切。
我以前間中學的老師每一位都很關心我們，雖然我以前讀果間唔係一間好學校
但起碼他們冇放棄過我們。

這裏給我很大發揮、發掘興趣的機會
沒錯，我真的不太喜愛電腦科。但是這裏可以令我從我的興趣中找到學習的樂趣
無人不知我很喜歡航空。
對於一個不愛腦電腦而又要硬著頭皮上課的人來說，的確是頗痛苦的。
但辛好這裏的導師給我們頗大的發展空間
令我兩方面的知識都一起增長。

我記得我讀到fault 這一個課節時
我同時學懂了飛機上的飛行除錯機制。這真是其中一樣收穫。
當然還有很多…

What is test-driven development?

Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a computer programming technique that involves writing test cases first and then implementing the code necessary to pass the tests. The goal of test-driven development is to achieve rapid feedback and implements the "illustrate the main line" approach to constructing a program. This technique is heavily emphasized in Extreme Programming.

Practitioners emphasize that test-driven development is primarily a method of designing software, not just a method of testing. The method is also used for removal of software defects.

Test-Driven Development Cycle

1. Write the test
It begins with writing a test. In order to write a test, the developer must understand the specification and the requirements clearly. This is accomplished through use cases and user stories. The design document covers all the test scenarios and exception conditions.

2. Write the code
The next step is to make the test pass by writing the code. This step forces the programmer to take the perspective of a client by seeing the code through its interfaces. This is the design driven part of test-driven development. As part of test calibration, your code should fail the test meaningfully the first time around.

3. Run the automated tests
The next step is to run the automated test cases and observe if they pass or fail. If they pass, the programmer can be more confident that the code meets the test cases as written. If there are failures, the code did not meet the test cases..

4. Refactor
The final step is the refactoring step and any code clean-up necessary will occur here. The test cases are then re-run and observed.

5. Repeat
The cycle will then repeat itself and start with either adding additional functionality or fixing any errors.

How Internet email works

Electronic mail, abbreviated e-mail or email, is a method of composing, sending, and receiving messages over electronic communication systems. The term e-mail applies both to the Internet e-mail system based on the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and to intranet systems allowing users within one company or organization to send messages to each other. Often these workgroup collaboration systems natively use non-standard protocols but have some form of gateway to allow them to send and receive Internet e-mail. Some organizations may use the Internet protocols for internal e-mail service.

What is the sequence of events that takes place when you send an email to someone across the Internet?

The diagram above shows a typical sequence of events that takes place when Alice sends an e-mail to Bob.

composesing a message using a mail user agent (MUA). alice types in, or selects from an address book, the e-mail address of her correspondent. She hits the "send" button. Her MUA formats the message in Internet e-mail format and uses the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) to send the message to the local mail transfer agent (MTA), in this case smtp.a.org, run by Alice's Internet Service Provider (ISP).
The MTA looks at the destination address provided in the SMTP protocol (not from the message header), in this case bob@b.org. A modern Internet e-mail address is a string of the form localpart@domain.example. The part before the @ sign is the local part of the address, often the username of the recipient, and the part after the @ sign is a domain name. The MTA looks up this domain name in the Domain Name System to find the mail exchange servers accepting messages for that domain.
The DNS server for the b.org domain, ns.b.org, responds with an MX record listing the mail exchange servers for that domain, in this case mx.b.org, a server run by Bob's ISP.
smtp.a.org sends the message to mx.b.org using SMTP, which delivers it to the mailbox of the user bob.
Bob presses the "get mail" button in his MUA, which picks up the message using the Post Office Protocol (POP3).

E-mail content encoding
E-mail was only designed for 7-bit ASCII. While a lot of e-mail software was in fact 8-bit clean this couldn't be relied upon on open interchange. The MIME standard introduced charset specifiers and two content transfer encodings to encode 8 bit data for transmission: quoted printable for mostly 7 bit content with a few characters outside that range and base64 for arbitrary binary data. The 8BITMIME extension was introduced to allow transmission of mail without the need for these encodings but many mail transport agents still don't support it fully, possibly due to the complication of having to do content transformations when forwarding to a mailserver that doesn't support it.

people is facing about how to deal with failure
actually no fail, no success
software project development is a child. also it doesnt has a standard operation procedure for them
because each envirnoment will have different deviation,
they cant use the same system to fulfill all user wantts. although they use the same item
, it has to modify it before sending to user. adding some items, it may cause unpredictable failure.

from economical views , consumer has unlimited wants but they only have scare resources.
all customer is very hard to treat them well because they have different wants, also they always changes thier needs .....

political factor
all people want to be the frist whatever they do.
they can earn the money from the earilst stage
so when thier comprtitor is doing the same thigns, if they are slower , they will give up the project or change direction to minimize the loss.

they have A321 , A320 and A319
although the infastructure is the same,
base on thier physical deviation ,FSC will some differences.

now they mostly used the same FCS, why dont modify it to become better !?
in fact they have slightly modify.... ....
because they cant predict the logical error how to effect thier bussiness...

although the kid in the cockpit, it didn't the main factor of this accident
the main resaon is the system failure

when the child contorl the plane after 30 second ,it partially disconnecting part of the autopilot....................................
the kid didnt hit any button when he was contorlling the plane.....

PPL Flying Lesson ---C172 check List (Pre-Start)

in these days, i'm not only taking rest at home also i started to learn how to fly by using FS 2004.
actaully it's not a game, he so serious...
the frist lesson --study the check list of the plane
each plane has differeny check list for checking the procedure....
basically it can be grouped into 3 parts
plane inspection, enginee checking , intsurment checking,

the plane inspection includes,
checking each parts of planes from leftside to rightside ...
frist of all turn on the beacon light
we have to check the fuel tank reading by using a ruler, take some smaple of fuel to see that there are no any water inside the fuel.
check the screw is tightly installed bewteen each components. the aileron the trim , and elevator moves smoothly , the rudder supposes cant move smoothly.
and also we have to check the light is on and the undercarriage is normal.

when finished all the inspection of the plane then get back to the plane for starting Pessager brief ,is it a very important parts ,all safty precaution is now being asked.

after the briefing we have to check our seat and seatbelt is adjust upright and lock

parking brakes is on
fuel selector , we have to set to the both position
fuel shut off valve "IN"
Flaps is retracted
Circuit Breakers "IN"
electrice /Avionics Master "OFF"
Master/Alternator "ON"
Fuel Pump "ON"
Prime "mix in 3-5 GPH.. (arround 3 sec) then Cut Off
All Clear (All Clear Prop)

因禍得福

今次是我第一次用中文在這裏記下一點生活點滴。這亦都是與我的興趣沒有什麼大關係。
但我真想放上這兒跟大家一起分享。

前幾天，放學回家，我與友人正前往到赤柱吃晚飯。當車駛到大潭水霸後，就發生了一宗交通以意外，主角是我和他。幸好二人傷勢不算嚴重。

原本星期五就是我們六人大伙兒到迪士尼。因為tomi 的女朋友的免費門票。
但是我當時只有百份之五十的機會去到。因為他的傷。

當我致電到tomi 時，他的反應不是擔心我能否出席，而是問我和他的傷勢。真的令我感動。晚上看到ck 的日記，他亦都留下問候的字句。我真是很感動。

星期五，出門前還以為可以成行，但是他的傷口亦在流血。結果唯有到醫院。而我最終都放棄到迪士尼。當我打給tomi時，他們叫我好好休息。真是令我感動。

在急症室逗留數小時後，終於可以回家。回家後，我太累了，結果睡了一會。突然收到他們的視像來電，我真是很感動，因為他們在玩樂的同時，亦沒有忘記我，而且還慰問他。

他們還為我拍了很多的照片，為找了一樣紀念品給我。

雖然我不能跟他們到迪士尼玩，但是我得到的是比去迪士尼玩更寶貴的東西，就是這五個同學。雖然相識了數十天，但是他們對朋友的一份真誠，真是令我感動。我從未試過麼幸運，一次過結識到五個對人這麼好的同學。能夠結識到他們，真是一份福氣。

but i dont know why they have too much comparision with 747 =.="

frist of all they used A340-600 for comparing ,the length...and the wing spans.....
actually A340-600 like a giant hair dryer..............too slow.............=.=""""""
my friend dont like it at all ,because it is too slow and waste his time for lining up other planes........

A380..they used the space, and height.....................
there is no doubt that A380 is the Biggest wide body aircraft in the world....
but why that use the comparision for showing how powerful they are......

A380 is a nightmare of my friend.................

Antonov An-225 Mriya.... also like that.................... size maxium loading....

it 's need to stay on runway for warming up the enginees................
there's are 6 enginees....

in fact Boeing 747 has been developed for more then 30 years ago.....
at that time no body will think of the it could be used for long time
and the company hadn't excepted ......................

when i read the news
i found the reason ....
On of the Cathay 's B747-400 has been re-built from pessager aircraft to freighter....
this aircraft is used for more then 10 year's and this is not only the frist re-built cargo aircraft
but also this is the frist time of boeing testing the aircaraft outside the United States,they have been testing in this month for all knids of testing, the flight will maintain level at 300 -400 and it will be test for 7 days of week... @_@""

Another application with using WEB 2.0 technology

i remember my friend told me about his working envirnoment . he thinks that the computer system is not very helpful for him. beacuse the radar is not very sensitive.... and the software is very clusmy for tracing ......

think more about my min project

after fighting with my Assignemnt of HKACC.... i really tried .... .. becuse some irresponsible person.... in our group , but anyway this is a good time for me trainning up my english skills :)

when i think of how to write the better opreational order... suddenly ....
i think of my min project ~~

i have 2 news ideas of my min project , it's also related to aviation. one is for entertainment and the other one is for my friend :)

oh well ~
in free time , i play FS for killing time, actaully i dont think the backgroud is not very good, especially the map .... =.=""" it's really unclear...
so it would be better if uesd the WEB 2.0 for improving this situation ....

i wanna impelment the Map into FS. it's not only can find the location of airport easier but also it we can fly with a "nearly real" situation....

if it is possible , we can take a flight with a real back ground :) wahha ....
it aslo can save the hard disk space for storing the scenarios

and the other idea.... i think i will write it tomorow :)

Comment on UML Tool

after using 2 types of UML tool , here are some comments of 2 tool, it will base on servreal areas for consideration. interface design, accpectability
and aslo i will try to use different point of view to consider each area. once is SE viewing and the other one is normal user .

Base on the limitaion of school computer , the installation speed is not very well , especially eclipesUML tool. when i was installing this , i found that they used most of the resources of the computer, so it is hardly to use another application when it is installing .

in view of easy to use, eclipes is more difficult than Poseidon, from last time i was try to use them to draw diagram without any introduction, finally i can finish it of using both , but i discoved that , Poseidon is use less time for learning how to use.

although the Poseidon can give a smaller size , faster to install and easy to use, it only can draw diagram.
Eclipse can give better envirnoment for doing futher process , such as progamming genreation from the UML diagram . it can create a class or object from the diagram . so the developer can trace the code easily.

Most of the java application developer, they prefer to use Eclipse for system developing. since it is a very powerful tools for model bulding and coding in a same platform.

Understanding the flight control system with using FS2004

oh~~ my fd gave me A330 FS add on compontent..
that's is better then orginal version... because it have to pay $$ ....

oh ~~ tha't is basic level of contorlling the A330 ....
frist of all
there are 4 main parts in the cockpit and all parts is connected to a system , but not all parts have controlled by the system , it can control it directly....for example turn on or off the light ...

let's check the electrical system...
turn on APU...
then connect ground electrical source(for saving the fuel)... . turn on the pannel...... start the cockpit light , air-conditioner.....
check the total loading of the flight of the plane for preventing uneven weight in the aircraft

then open the door ......

check the rudder , trim , "spoiler", elevator, flaps...........physical equipment

at the same time, we have to input the flight information into a "flight computer.."(i fotgot the name.... i have to check it when i at home :P)

at frist we have to listen the radar from tower to get the weather information, the runway information....
then we have to look at the map they are usually use "jeppsen flight chat" for looking the airway and way point. they we have to set all the information into the system.....

then double check again for preventing any missing and incorrect procedure...
ok~~~ when the gate is closed..

we have to contact ground to get permittion for pushing back the plane from the gate......

at this time. close the air-con
open the taxi light , cabin light sit bell sign , and no smoking sign......
then turn off the ground electrical pwoer ....then start to have a enginee checking
we are starting from enginee no one, starting the enginee , the indicator will show the information of a engine .......
after finishing checking and starting the plane will start to be pushed

at this moment, contact the ATC again to get the routes of taxiing....

when we at the holding point. we have to contact the ATC with changing channel from,ground to ...."XXX""(forget the name again... :P i just remember the nickname :P)
the request the flight take off..........

after taking off....at the flight at altitude at arround 1500FT close the landing gear...when the plane arrived at the route of runyway.....
they.......started autopilot........ :P

from this game . i can clearly define the class , object , functions and activity......
totally using the arucfrat for understanding OO concept is very good for it :P

Watching the Plane @ VHHH 07 left again

today i was going to observe the planes again~~ but at this time there are a fews traffic...
so we talked about the helicopter ...
too many fires arround lantau island.....
GFS needs to fright fires..............

perventing the turbulence, they needs holding at a place until the cargo flight touched down the runway.....
after the cargo landed. helicopter started to fly back to HQ....but where is its bucket!?
we though the pliot just back to HQ for refueling....

when i left the VHHH the fires still burning.......... but better then fews hrs before........

Travelling to VHHH again

today i was going to VHHH to observe the plane again with my friend by driving a motor bike.
we were sitting at stair near the runway of 07 south. This trip is not only for our interest
and also we all have to do the report / project . he has to write the report about what he observed from last trip by visiting the Cockpit of A330 and control tower of bank kok and i have to think about my web blogs, min project and my presentation. the most interseting point of us is we are using different points of view to understanding the flight ocntorl system of A330
he is using the viewing of ATC, and i 'm using the SE , that's a very good chance for me to understand more about the user's view and SE view.

Grenal information of the A330 ans A340
A340 builts on A330 technology.
the reson is base on the rules of ICAO . because of airway.

Airway is a traffic route of aircraft, all of them must follow the rotues, each air way has thier own names also waypoint is located at each airway. some airway doesnt need report to ATC , but some needs. also all flight must have a alternative airport for any emergerncy.
such as engine failure.
but some rotue doesnt has any alternative airport so after the reporting point,the flight will become the no-return journey. All pilot must check the system carefully before passing though the airway.

From rules if one of the enginee failure in twins enginee configuraions the plane cant passing though the no-return rotue , but 4 enginee it can still passing though the no-return with 1 enginee failure.

So, airbus design the A340 for preventing this phenomenon. also the flight control system is same as A330 .
in fact, Airbus company desgin the flight control system can be used in most types of the aircraft, from the SE viewing ,desinging a new system is using a long time , but if using the same concept of producing the system , it would be more easily.also they overcome the fualt more easily.

in the real world , there are many types of system for aircraft,but most of them belongs to a Safety-Critical Computer Systems. (SCCS)

because the resopnse time is very important of the aircraft.
they have to make the best of one's time for reduecing the cost during the flight and prevent the accident occur.it wll have a long term side effect if the accident occur, not only effect the grading of airlines and also will it needs to use many resource for finding out the resaon and factor from the accident.

after reading some imformation about Web 2.0 and Aviation . i found something can help the pliot and airlines with using Web 2.0

i wanna use Jeepsen data + google map + position of aircraft provide by radar ...... grouped together ...in one platform , it not just for using at ground but also using in flight.

i wanna design a system with using the map for checking the capacity of airway ,using the radar to check the real time weather information , the system on aircraft with observing the useage of the fuel, it is not only for flight crew , also it can help the airlines to design the route, attidute , airspeed of the flight as a result, it can reduce the cost of prodcution.

But i'm still thinking where is my strating point , and the area of my consideration ....

i think i have to find the information
about the aircraft computer system , the WEb 2.0 techniqe , the marketing tactic of airlines
some pricinple of flight

Actually I cant buy the text book , for preventing lack of preparation so I think I have to read my old text book :)

After finishing the chp1, I understood the general ideas of software engineering, professional and ethical responsibility.

Software is not just the programs but also many associated ideas, documentation and configuration. Most of them are using for operating the system correctly and efficiency.

And also software engineer is a person who concerts the system developing and implementing can fulfill consumer needs.

For a good system it should have 4 elements. That is Maintainability, Dependability, Efficiency and Usability. Those can’t be omitted and also it is very important for making the greatest benefit of both sides - producer and consumer.

For basic software engineer skills they have to know the customer needs, because the purpose of the software is helping the user to solve their problems efficiency

Being a good software engineer, it must have ability to be challenged by 3 factors
The Legacy challenge, Heterogeneity challenge and delivery challenge.

Also integrity is very important for all software engineers, they have to protect the privacy of both sides, and also it may commit an offense by breaking down the promise.

New Arrangement of Aerospace in Disneyland

my freind feels annoying about chagning procdure of controlling Helicopter in the areospace arround the Disneyland.............actually he missed the meeting today.
but some colleagues told him there are a lots of confilct about the plan because they lack of planning and coordinating........

another things he told me... he was published by some "Empire" that's someperson who wanna promote to higher position of thier job....
this is another misunderstanding and lack of coordinating event again.
at night they need to change the runway from 25 to 07...in this time they have to coordinate the time of the last flight.....actually someone didnt tell the coordinator for confriming the time,She just told to my friend , at that time my friend is in ground position...
in fact he didnt need to tell the coordinator,also it is out of his working area.....but finally something happend ..... She wanna put all responsibilty to my friend..........becaues he is a junior staff =.="

in fact, without good planing , the percentage of failure will increase .......

being a good software engineer we need to have a professional responsibility .

he said his company has a stupid radar system and the computer system...@ VHHH =.="""
frist of all the most important function of this system is using for help the ATC to contorl the aircraft in the bad weather....such as rain cats and dogs........But actaully this system.........the radio wave can be totally absorb by rain dropness,the system will display nothing or display a large range of the color on the screen . so ATC cant use this system....hahah

and other system.....when the aircraft moving along some area when radar cant dectect in a short period of time.... this aircraft will be vanished on the screen.... then he needs to trace the aircraft by pressing many keys again........ he feels very CLUMSY.....because he have to repeat the task from step 1 .......
so he wonders the system will change or add a new function to prevent this event occur....

i wanna help him...but..... i dont know how they operate the aircraft in the airport

from this, i 'm not only know more about my dream work and also i found something about SE
For developing a new system , frist things i have to understand how do they do and consider the system how can help them to slove a problem . the computer system is not controlling the human activity ,it is helping the human to increase thier productivity .

last time i talked with my fd
about aircraft and computer system. actually the topic is not very clear at all.because we cant compare with different stages envirnoment
if using making a aircraft compare with developing a new computer system ,it is not a possible...

if using desinging a new aircraft compare with developing a new computer system
is will be more fair
when we are using this comparesion we can find it out some ideas about system
1. hardware support is an very important parts, whenever the software is very powerful.
2. Most of the design is not only consider the user needs, usually the political tactic of the company.
3 Some soical political effect will be affecting the development of a new technology, most of the useful things will be kept by the govnerment eventully until this system can be repleaced by another.
4.The desgin will be changed by other competitior because of SPY ...hahha
5.Forecasting is an very important parts of the system design, without it, it will use more cost to develop.

so before desgining a system
we should

when being a software engineer the frist thing they need to know is how to keep the secret , it not only can protect thier orginal prodcut and also it can pervent the non-public product has been disclosed to other competitor.

for undering monopolistic competition,the competitor wants to know the marketing tactic of other firm.
for example airbus wants to develop a new project for contorlling the flight more efficiency,thus it can decuce the cost of training and operating the plane.
in fact they want to keep this secret until the prodcut disclose to public,but many spy will get the inforamtion to boeing for preventing get lost from this. for decreasing the risk of leakage of company privacy ,post of the company will sign a NDA with the employee for protecting themselves.

we need to know how to keep secret of the company. it cant do anything without integerity.

today i was on of the member who can join the passing out parade of HKACC RITC/OCTC training crouse .... and also i was the best RITC student.....
but i dont think i performed very well during the crouse ....

today my fd told me that the plane cant take off and land since the bad weather ...
oh no~~ i tough he was having a busy day ........if there are any software which can arrange the priority of take off~~ :P that's can help the ATC much more ...if this system exist.. hahhaa

how about me ! oh no we had to foot drill in the heavy shower .........too bad all the clothes got wet already..... but we didnt stop our reherasl
i have to a extra action...because i need to get the prize from the VIP guess....

Airbus A320

Last day my freind told me to see the news about the emergency landing of A320 in America. The plane is crippled by a nose gear, finally it had landed after 3 hrs for burning out most of fuels .when i asked to my fd why they dont release the fuel instead of burning , he said A320 dont have any function for releasing the fuel from plane because it's design the Maximum Take-Off Weight(MTOW) is equal MLW.

luckly the computer system discover the nose gear had some problem. in the A320 there are many different system for operating the aircraft but they all can be linked together.such as the gear system it's include at least one system to operate actually i dont know the amount of the system at this time but mostly it design for the user to check the gear opreates normally or not.Some of them only show the result,also some it has to enter the command to control. although the landing gear is a small parts of the aircraft , but without them the plane cant land safty.

in the view of software enginerring , Designing a system needs many different specifications and documents before starting to built, from starting the project the frist specifictions is must be finished is a project evaluation , it is not only for evaluate the cost and time aslo the man power deployment is also have to consider.

Today it was the frist lesson of software engineering tutorial. The lecture asked me to singup a weblog account for sharing what i have learnt in the class ,and also discuss some topic which is related to software engineering.that's a new method for us to learn more ~ oh that's really wht i want to get in the university education.oh well .i think i have to introduce myself frist.

my name is arianna,most of fd called me in different name with missing some alphabets of my name ,such as "Rianna" ,"Riann" oh no...actually i dont like it very much .
some person feel that i am a special person, because aviation is the most thing i like, becuase i really want to fly in the sky , so i am self-learning about many aviation knowledge , now i'm studying the theory of PPL, after i finish i will try to take a crouse AEEP provided by Hong Kong Air Cadets Corps.

when i ask for which airplane i like best, actually i cant tell u becuase each plane has differnece specification.

many of my friend is working with Aviation industry , but most of them is not a pilot , in fact aviation in not only a pilot and FA. most of the people will only think like that.

acutally i wanna work in GFS or CAD hehe because that's my dream.mostly is day dreaming.
but my FD is working in CAD , also he feels some little bit disapointing about his work , because he have to wait a long time for promoting to another stage......also he dont know when will have a chance ...........

Most of the equipment in Aviation industry is closely related to computing and also thier system is very interesting and valuable for investigating so i think i will try to think more about the aviation system how to releated in software engineering. and aslo i will try to use english to write my blog because i wanna improve my english for entering aviation industry.

i hope i can learn more with using this method ...
